VARSITY COLLEGE DIARY 2015
Some Things You Need To Know And A Few Things You Don't.
Each year Varsity College, a tertiary institution in South Africa, would distribute a new student diary to both current and prospective learners. For the 2015 edition, I set out to create a daily planner with a difference. Ultimately, a student diary that not only provided necessary information about Varsity College, but also focused on teaching relevant skills based on general knowledge facts.

Students were given a new lesson/challenge each month, these formed the twelve diary themes. For instance January spoke to being ambidextrous, adaptable and the importance of starting off the year on the right foot.
The diary pages had three primary roles. To provide a place for students to plan each day. Secondly, throughout the year, Varsity College would place various 'Calls To Action' within the publication. Prompting students to take part. These were easy to identify as there was always an illustration accompanied by a line or two of copy. Lastly, these pages also featured a random fact at the bottom of each page, with each fact linking back to the overall theme for the month.
